Despite cool evening temperatures, the Nineteenth Annual Garden Party at Tudor Place was teeming with residents and guests eager to take in the live music, gourmet buffet, lush green lawn, and colonial history. Among the attendees were Georgetown notables, such as Councilmember Jack Evans, Bill Starrels, Ed Solomon, and Nancy Bubes. The Garden Party brings together residents, and business/community representatives to enjoy the historic property. Many local businesses helped to support the event, including the Georgetown Business Association. “GBA is proud to be a supporter of the Tudor Place Garden Party for the second year in a row,” said GBA’s Rokas Beresniovas. “Now, more than ever, its very important for nonprofits to work with and support each other for the benefit of the community.”
